Our Story
Eric Lamberson and Martin Prudente founded Custom Grips and Knives in 2001. Eric handled the business end and designed products while Martin performed the manufacturing.
Eric Lamberson
Eric is a firearms enthusiast with 40+ years of experience in using firearms for hunting, competition, and self-defense. Eric and Martin founded Custom Grips and Knives and enjoyed a partnership that spanned almost 20 years.
Martin Prudente
Martin was a superb knife maker who was also gifted with an uncanny ability to turn raw materials into the best custom grips on the market. Unfortunately Martin passed in 2024 and is sorely missed.
